How to Enable IE Mode in Microsoft Edge

To turn on Internet Explorer mode, use the following steps:


Open Microsoft Edge


In the address bar for Microsoft Edge, type

edge://settings/defaultbrowser and then click Enter.

Slide the Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer toggle to ON.

Restart Microsoft Edge.

OR Follow these step by step instructions:

1. Open Microsoft Edge

2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner

3. Select Settings

4. Select Default Browser on the left menu

5. Set "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer Mode" to Allow

6. Click the Restart button

7. Go to the IP address/Website you want to view in IE mode

8. Click the three dots in the upper right corner then choose "Reload in Internet Explorer Mode"

9. Alternately to step 8, you can click the IE Mode icon IEMode.png in the upper right corner to reload the page in IE Mode.
